Advantages and disadvantages of patterns

The easiest way to apply a protective coating on a car is to use special patterns. They correspond to the shape and size of certain parts of the car and do not need additional trimming. When pasting the car, you do not have to make unnecessary measurements. It is enough to clean the surface of the car body from dirt and stick stickers on it.

Also, the advantages include the variety of available template sets. You can purchase kits for all body parts or for individual parts that are most susceptible to mechanical stress. These include the hood and bumper. You can also choose patterns for small items: headlights, running lights, mirrors and handles.

The film is painted on separate stencils using special equipment, which ensures high quality and accuracy of drawings. The disadvantage of templates is that they need to be selected for a specific car model. In other words, models for one car brand will not be suitable for another. In addition, problems may arise when pasting tuning cars and bodies of non-standard sizes.

Another disadvantage is the need to find a good master. Only an experienced specialist will install the coating correctly (without bubbles, gaps and lagging edges). In this case, the protective film on the car will have a long service life. It is resistant to temperature changes and does not change its appearance over time.
Cars with a protective coating do not need special care. It is enough to regularly wipe the body from dust and dirt, as well as wash the car in the usual way.
