After pasting the car with film parts, it receives reliable "armor" from scratches, chips, dirt and, as a result, from abrasion of the paintwork and premature wear.

How to choose the best cutting plotter

A plotter is a device that automatically cuts out stencils (layouts) according to a pre-prepared electronic template. In fact, it is a machine with a digital control system.

When choosing a device, you should pay attention to its parameters such as:

  • The size of the working area. Large-format plotters (up to 1300 mm wide) are suitable for cutting out anti-gravel car coverings. They allow you to work with film of various sizes and produce stickers for small, medium and large parts.
  • Type of cutting tool. Weather vane and tangential knives are used to work with polymer films. Their "tip" is selected taking into account the thickness of the material: the smaller this indicator is, the lower the sharpening angle of the knife should be.
  • Optical positioning. The presence of this function is necessary when maximum contour cutting accuracy is required, eliminating the slightest errors in the production of complex products.
It is worth noting that roll types of plotters are designed for cutting anti-gravity films, which are designed to work with flexible materials.

The presented mechanisms carry out the cutting of figures to the film substrate. The resulting samples can repeat the outlines of any structural parts of the vehicle – in accordance with patterns for the bumper of a car, hood, doors, headlights. Also, with their help, polymer forms of all elements that make up the interior of the car are cut.
